The house was very clean and as described. Debra goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and at home.  You won't be disappointed.

We were repeat visitors to this wonderful property. Very well-kept home, great location, very reasonably priced, and a welcoming and responsive host. Hope to stay here again in the future and would highly recommend.

The house and rooms were clean and perfect for our business trip while four of us from our church attended a conference. The quiet neighborhood helped to make the stay restful. While not walking distance to shops, nothing was too far away. The host is very responsive and provided helpful and thoughtful touches in the house for our stay. I highly recommend staying here and we will certainly try to do so again in the future.

This stay was lovely! Very pet friendly, including spare towels to wipe the dogs down which was great because we got some rain. Everything was very clearly labeled, the area was nice, running trails close by and lots of great food choices!

My family and I LOVED Debras property!! We switched to her property for a cleaner experience while visiting family. We explained our situation to Debra and she let us check in earlier than 4. Her property had everything we needed from soaps,extra tissue, books to keep the children quiet to even having clean pots and pans. Not one time did we have to second guess running to the store, she had it super home for us. The beds and enviroment of the whole has was amazing, super comfortable and felt like home at all times. Everything was put together beautifully, comfort was there within each step we took, the neighborhood is super quiet as well. I Wish we could've took the heated toilet and moving bed with us! We will for sure stay again, we have never had a stay this great. Her home is the vacation!! Her rule book was super friendly as well. Just know you dont need anything extra when staying here! She has everything you could possibly think of.

Comfortable / cozy vibes. Everything was labeled. Lots of entertainment options between games and TV / streaming options. Lovely outdoor space. Amazing adjustable beds.  It met our needs and was so close to the wedding venue.

We had an AMAZING stay from October 14th–17th! The house was beautiful, spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully organized. The bathrooms were sparkling clean and stocked with everything we needed. The beds were cozy, and having TVs in every bedroom was a wonderful bonus! We especially loved the master bedroom with its private bathroom. The front porch and backyard offered relaxing seating areas, and the outdoor fireplace was a lovely touch. Everything was clearly labeled, making it easy to find what we needed. Debra even provided a helpful list of places to visit, things to do, and restaurants to try! And let me tell you, we LOVED the heated toilet seats! Now I want one at home! LOL! 😂❤️ It's the little touches that make a big difference. Thank you, Debra, for such a welcoming and wonderful experience! Definitely worth it, and we would happily stay again! Highly recommend! ❤️

Charming little house with plenty of room for its purpose.  4 nights here cost just a few dollars more than a 4-night stay at the nearby chain hotel.  That's a few dollars more for an incredibly greater experience.  No brainer if you ask me.  We will use it again, no doubt about it.

Debra is a friendly and helpful host, and the condo was absolutely wonderful. It was immaculate, decorated so nicely, and had everything we could possibly need. 5 of us stayed for a family wedding in Wake Forest and there was plenty of room in the comfy condo for our entire group. We really appreciated the new and clean iron and small ironing board for our wedding guest attire. The coffee bar in the condo was top notch, and some us walked to the farmers’ market which was very nice. There were just so many things that made the visit so easy and convenient, including things like labels on kitchen and bathroom cabinets making everything so easy to find. We highly recommend this condo and Debra, our awesome host!

This lovely house is tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, well-stocked with everything one needs, and the host is delightfully friendly and helpful. We stayed there for eight days while our kitchen was being remodeled. We were instantly comfortable, felt safe in the quiet neighborhood, and we slept peacefully, which is huge for me. We highly recommend at stay at Whispering Woods.

My husband and I stayed for four nights while we visited a family member and felt comfortable and right at home. I asked about getting a tea kettle and it was delivered promptly. There is a binder that was put together with helpful information and suggestions that was very handy. Nothing was overlooked! I particularly liked the “In Case You Need It” box (but need what you take.”) that included things we’ve all forgotten: toothbrush and small toothpaste, scotch tape, personal hygiene items, etc. It was so much more relaxing and comfortable than being in a hotel room and made our trip a more pleasurable one. This property looks exactly like the pictures. The host provided prompt answers to all questions. I would definitely recommend this property. We loved all the added amenities.

Much nicer than a hotel!  We had to make an unexpected trip from Michigan for a sister's-in-law funeral. -not exactly a vacation.  We were so happy to find a last-minute booking so close to where we needed to be.  The arrangement couldn't have been better for us.  Our traveling companions,  my other brother and his wife, were able to stay in the king guest room with their own bath and my daughters and I shared the other rooms and Jack and Jill bathroom.  We could be together, but also have privacy.We found the house to be clean and well appointed.  We appreciated being able to use the kitchen which had all of the basics and a few special extras.  We also liked the good water pressure, clean, fluffy white towels and the soaps in the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry.  The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The backyard was very nice and we loved the bamboo.  Response was very quick and the house accurate to its description.  We would stay again when we return to see family under better circumstances.

Debra is a superb host! The backyard and deck were great and the front porch rockers got a workout! The house is more spacious than it looks from the outside. Everything was nicely decorated. I especially appreciated the many visible and accessible outlets.We were surprised how quiet it was in the neighborhood being so close to downtown. Didn't test the walkability, but folks younger and more inclined should not have a problem with it.We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay here overall.  It was smaller than we realized but it was true to the pictures - it's just hard to tell sometimes how big/small a place is in pictures and when we arrived, we all thought it was much smaller than what we were expecting. There were 3 adults and 5 kids and it was a tight squeeze. Also, we noted it was pet friendly but personally didn't have a pet. Overall it was cleaned well from the previous pets but definitely had a musty smell upon entering and the pantry closet that was empty for people to keep food also had pet supplies so it smelled pretty bad. We loved how responsive the hosts were. Early/late check out weren't possible unfortunately but that is pretty typical, just always a perk when it's possible to accommodate. If you have a pet and don't have a huge crew then this is a great place.

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs, but in over a decade Debra’s place was the most thoughtfully equipped, with a nice welcome snack, clear instructions, even a nice tray of items for our dog.

The house was perfect for our weekend trip with another couple. We had plenty of space to congregate together and have some alone time too. Will definitely rent from Dea again if we are in the area. Thank you sooo much for the comfortable beds. The adjustable bases were a nice touch and I’m not sure I’ll like my cold toilet seat when I get home. LOL.

Such a lovely place to stay!I spent a week here with my kids and extended family.  We all loved it.  Nice neighborhood- great for biking, scooters, walks, etc.  Definitely felt like a home away from home!

This place was definitely 5 star across the board. It's in a nice neighborhood, centrally located and very clean. What I really liked was it had a lot of little touches, coffee and creamer there, heated toilet seat, snacks, a pet basket (we had our service dog with us). Back yard was great, fenced in yard for the pup too. Debra the host was extremely responsive to all our requests. I've stayed in a lot of VRBOs, this one was one of my favorites! Would highly recommend

This is an excellent spot - Debra thinks of all the little things down to snacks and a handwritten note on arrival. The backyard is a very nice size for folks with pets or for kids to play. The porch was lovely to hang out in the evenings. Fun amenities like heated toilet seats and an adjustable bed in the master complete the experience. To top it off you are walking distance to downtown Wake Forest with numerous coffee shops, bars and restaurants. All around a lovely experience.

Excellent home and would definitely stay here again when in the area. Debra was super accommodating and always very quick to answer any questions we had. The house was perfect for our family and dog. They even had things specifically for the dog (bowls, toy, towels). The 4 king sized beds were amazing and everyone slept like rocks. We loved being able to walk and run around the area (the best area close by was the neighborhood across the street). Bonus of having use of the 2 car garage (some places lock theirs up). Thank you for having us and the many small details that made our stay so nice.

Great house

Lovely stay at Debra’s place! We’re locals who were in need of a place to crash for a week between moving homes and Debra’s home fit all of our needs: central North Raleigh location, pet friendly, cozy. The primary bed was super comfortable and gave us a good night’s sleep during a stressful time. We also enjoyed sitting out on the patio and playing games with our son. Debra was super communicative and easy to reach.

Great backyard for my dogs!  Super close to everything that I wanted (grocery store, Joyner Park, downtown Wake Forest). Loved it. Bed was super comfy.  Great linens and pillows. Would definitely stay there again, which is my highest compliment.

We love wake forest and we loved everything about whispering woods. The host Deborah was great to work with the entire property was our favorite in Raleigh. Our son lives inLouisburg only 15 minutes away from whispering woods. We have stayed in several different homes two or three times a year in North Carolina. We come when our grandson have spring break and week before school starts. we always stay 6 to 7 nights at a time. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. Perfect pet friendly house!  The back patio was extremely comfortable to hang out and the fenced in yard was completely secure and just what we needed for our pup to hang out with us.

Outstanding host. Top notch communication and friendliness. My wife and I stayed at Debra's place for three weeks and it exceeded our already high expectations. It was clean, comfortable and a perfect layout for what we needed for a longer rental while we searched for a home nearby (found it, so we'll be living nearby we like Wake Forest so much!). The location was easily walkable to downtown restaurants and coffee shops. Debra clearly puts a lot of thought and effort into her rentals, and it was greatly appreciated by us. PS - the neighbors on the cul-de-sac like street were also welcoming and friendly.

Debra was super responsive & a great host. The space is lovely and the spacious fenced in backyard was the highlight for us and our dog! Definitely will book again for our next visit to Wake Forest!

We had a wonderful stay at Downtown Digs!  Our family needed a home for a few weeks while we had some work done on our own house.  We were thrilled to find this property as we needed someplace that our children and pets would be comfortable in.  We loved the spacious bedrooms, colorful decor and having a place that could feel like a home while we were displaced from ours.  Our favorite part was the location; we loved getting a taste of downtown living!  There was so much within walking distance- the weekly Farmers Market, reataurants, parks and the beautiful seminary grounds.  We truly enjoyed our time and Debra was so easy to work with- we would definitely recommend this property.

This property fit our needs perfectly. I was so happy to find a house with four king beds to house four couples. We were able to gather together for meals, but also have privacy when needed. We loved how everything in the kitchen was labeled and easy to find. The back porch was a great spot for morning coffee. I wish our schedule had worked out for us to try the fire pit.

Such a great location to stay! Everything was very easy and the attention to detail was excellent. We were even able to charge our electric car in the garage. Would definitely recommend!

Layout was perfect for our family of 4, with two tweens.  I've stayed in a lot of airbnb's and I can honestly say, there was so much about this rental that I appreciated; from the layout of the house, to the labeling of the cabinets, to the adjustable bedframes and heated toilet seats, to the detailed binder with recommendations, and game table for the kids!  Description was on point and Debra was extremely responsive and open to feedback to make the experience better which is always a sign of a great host!  Thanks for having us, we love Wake Forest and can't wait to come back!

Great home while we were moving to the area. Loved hanging out on the patio and walking the creek way walking trail just a few blocks from the house- so peaceful. The house has all sorts of extras to make you feel at home including a well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Safe neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Would highly recommend patio pad!!!

This host knows how to HOST.  Everything prior to our arrival, upon our entry, during our stay, and prior to our departure was geared towards making our visit easy, enjoyable, and relaxing. Thoughtful items like a welcome baskets (for human and canine guests), a binder with info on local attractions and eateries, and simple Wi-Fi connection instructions made our family stay a pleasure. The Host responded very quickly to questions in a professional and friendly manner. Quaint property with everything clearly labeled and clean. Screened-in porch with a large table was the place for family games, with the ceiling fan keeping all very cool. Lighted, heated toilet seats were a huge hit with the ladies.  It’s tough to please everyone in our family, but this property and Host managed to check everyone’s boxes.

This place exceeded every expectation. The amenities were genuinely impressive, heated toilets, adjustable bed frames, fans and TVs in every bedroom, and a pool just a 5-minute walk away. No detail was overlooked, and it showed.The layout was fantastic for both relaxing and entertaining, with multiple living areas inside and out. Restaurants were right outside the neighborhood, yet the streets were incredibly quiet, somehow perfectly tucked away while still being central to everything. The neighborhood itself was a highlight. It was a joy to walk around and felt completely safe throughout our stay.We will absolutely return… which is why I debated writing this review at all. We have family in the area and are hoping to keep this gem to ourselves. But it’s too good not to share, just crossing our fingers it’s available when we need to book!

We loved the back deck and the ability to just relax, the fenced in yard is a huge perk if you have a dog, and the house was just right for our little group (including an infant). Walkable to downtown area, caught the Friday nights on White street and the Saturday farmers market. Would 100% come back.

debra's place was perfect.  Just what we needed. clean.beds were very comfortable.  toilet seats are heated if you want them to be. that was a fun surprise! the extra touches for my dog were nice. they had food bowls and towels to wipe paws. everything was lovely.

This was excellent, the house was wonderful, Debra thought of everything.  The kitchen had all that we needed, the bedrooms were spacious, everything was clean and neat, I will definitely stay again. loved the miscellaneous box in the kitchen closet, we needed  to fix a tie and the needle and thread was a life savor. Fantastic property and host!  I rented for a family wedding and stayed comfortably with my husband, parents and uncle.  3 king beds were wonderful and very comfortable for everyone.  The master bedroom had a private with glass shower, private toilet, and double sinks.  The other 2 bedrooms shared a bathroom with full shower and tub.  The kitchen had side-by-side refrigerator and dishwasher.  The microwave is built in and worked great.  Towels, hand towels and even wash clothes were supplied.  Beds had sheets, blanket and a light coverlet in layers.We relaxed on the L-shaped sofa a lot and connected my Fubo account to the main TV without any issues.  Wifi was very fast and had a strong connection throughout the property.  The coffee bar was great and had regular and flavored K-cups stocked, plus flavoring and creamers.  Perfect for our first morning after a long day of travel.Decor was fun and a little funky - I loved it all especially the glass chandelier in the living room that looked like the sun.Washer and dryer were appreciated - let us pack lightly and wash a load mid-way through our stay.We used the garage entry and parked our rental car inside - if you have a larger SUV or truck, you might have to park outside.  We had full control of the A/C which we appreciated.Definitely recommend this property and any others that Debra offers.  Her communication was fast and clear - she even contacted us before noon to let us know that we could check in early.

I would recommend this place for anyone needing a place to stay especially for multiple couples. There’s a very long driveway for multiple cars and lots of bedrooms with king beds which is lovely. The house was well appointed with most everything you could need and then some and the hosts were very kind and accommodating. One negative thing I will say is that while we probably aren’t the norm on Airbnb in that we were at this place most of the day each day rather than just to sleep, the living room did leave a lot to be desired for us. It had nice high ceilings but at least with the current placement of furniture felt very small and crowded and the couch was quite hard.

Great location. It was perfect for getting together with family including a 93 year old mother for a family marriage. Backyard and porch was a great place for conversation.

We booked The Patio Pad when our previous booking canceled us due to double-booking. Honestly, that's the best thing that could've happened since we lucked up and found this listing. The house is everything described in the listing and MORE. It's very clean and well-maintained. It's very well-stocked and has everything you'll need to enjoy your stay. It's in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We had every bed filled but did not feel crowded at all. It was too hot to use the great Patio during the day, but we really enjoyed having our morning coffee there listening to the birds and watching the bunny zoomies in the yard while it was cooler. Checking in and out was super easy, and Debra was the perfect host. If we ever need to book a large family gathering in Raleigh again, we will definitely stay here.

I stay at a lot of Airbnbs, so I’m not easily impressed, but I was so surprised by the thoughtful touches that Debra provided.  From bowls for the dogs to water and snacks to a bin of things we might have forgotten like toothpaste to a binder with incredibly helpful instructions and recommendations—Debra has thought of it all.  The place was perfect.  Highly recommend!

Perfect stay. Great location in Wake Forest. So close to everything, especially downtown Wake Forest. Debra had everything set up before we arrived. She explains everything well in advance. The code was given timely to enter the houseThe house has everything that you could possibly need. The space did not feel small. The home was cozy, comfortable, and has a nice deck to relax on and a fenced in back yard. Our puppies felt right at home. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable. We should have asked her where it was purchased. We are definitely planning to use Debra's services in the future. If you're coming to the Wake Forest area, please consider this place in your travels. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We give it a 10 out of 10.

Totally a great experience all around. Great communication, awesome location and Everything we needed to feel right at home. Anything we needed was there and the home was super clean. Plenty of “little things” like quality toilet tissue, heated toilet seats and even a light in the toilet bowl!  Backyard is private, fenced and shaded. Really nice deck to enjoy. One of the best Airbnb's I've stayed at so far.  Since we use them for business a lot, having queen or king size beds in every room was wonderful.  One of the newest things was the heated toilets, lol. Loved it and will definitely stay there again

Debra was a wonderful host and we had a great long weekend at the Patio Pad. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in and the backyard provided great extra space! We also loved the location - especially the walking trails nearby! Thank you for hosting us, Debra!!

The space was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 3 kids. We loved the small park across the street, being able to walk to WF Main Street, and having easy access to the highway to downtown Raleigh! Debra is very responsible and provided great recommendations for restaurants and local activities.

The "Backyard Bliss" was the perfect house for my husband and I to stay at for our week-long getaway to Wake Forest/Raleigh. It was clean and very comfortable. So many items in the house that we didn't need to pack, plus drawers/cabinets were well labeled so we could find things! Location was near shopping, restaurants (shout out to Shuckers!), and the pool. We could easily drive to a Durham Bulls baseball game, to the TST soccer matches in Cary, and to downtown Raleigh for wedding planning for my son and girlfriend.  We will definitely book again with Debra!

This is definitely hands-down the best Airbnb I have stayed in so far, for many reasons. Beyond Debra’s five star customer service, this house was spotless clean and when I say spotless, I mean the dishware was so clean you could see through it. They have everything you need, and when I say everything, you know how usually you stay at a really nice Airbnb, there’s always one thing where you’re like, this place would be perfect if it had this…not this place! You can tell that someone really cares about this Airbnb, with all the little details that go into it, like the bin of things for your pets, the waters, snacks and handwritten thank you message upon arrival. I could go on and on about this stay. I loved it so much, I wanted to move there! I ended up taking a yoga class at Unwind a 10 minute walk from the Airbnb. Such a beautiful home and space for our group to all stay together for a friend’s wedding weekend. We loved how all four bedrooms had king size beds. The home had so much space for our group of 7 to spread out, whether that was around the tv in the living room or outside by the fire pit. The house was spotless and truly so comfortable!

Whispering Pines is a cozy, clean, and well decorated home in a convenient location. We really enjoyed the amenities, including the fenced yard for our puppy, heated toilet seats, and beds with adjustable base. We highly recommend staying here!

We traveled with our elderly cat, Lola, and stayed here for 5 days while visiting family. The beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and easily accessible. We did laundry and cooked a few meals. Overall a great experience and we would stay here again.

We had a family of 8 staying. We were blessed with beautiful weather and I will say the patio does not disappoint. Having a restroom outside was an additional bonus. Safe neighborhood and everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. The bedrooms are spacious and the mattresses are top notch. Big dining table for 8 that was excellent for family dinners and playing cards. The host is very responsive and went out of her way to make you feel at home and special. I got this Airbnb for my mom as she is planning on relocating to North Carolina and she was so happy with the accommodations. She said it was homey and she felt so happy there. She was actually very sad that her time there ended.

We enjoyed our stay while visiting relatives in the area! We very much appreciated the adjustable beds and the kids (and Dad ;-) ) enjoyed the gaming table! My daughter is also a big fan of the egg chairs! A nice home away from home!

Downtown Digs was everything that Debra described, very clean, great walkable location and full of additional amenities. Debra was extremely responsive and we were very comfortable in the unit. The road noise on Wait Street was a little loud during the morning commute but not a detractor as a whole. Great value and we as a family of 4 would stay again!

I can’t say enough good things about this VRBO! It was above our expectations.. very cute, clean and homey place, that had everything you could imagine to make our stay comfortable. I’d definitely go back and also recommend this place to anyone staying in Wake Forest…so much better than a hotel. Our 2 corgis loved the yard! And the property is close enough to downtown Wake Forest that we were able to walk and take our pups to a dog friendly place that was recommended on the VRBO information that was left for us. We walked to the Norse Brewery for dinner and enjoyed it very much. The next time we’re visiting family again in the area. We’d definitely stay here again. This place was absolutely amazing! From the day of check in to the day out the hosts were great at communicating. The house was everything we needed and more! Extremely clean, actually one of the cleanest AIRBNBs I have ever stayed in, conveniently located, had all the things we needed already within the home, each bedroom carefully decorated and designed, and those heated toilet seats!!!! Makes you never want to go back to using a regular toilet again. This is a 5 star place and I would definitely stay again.

Great stay in a clean home with great amenities!  Communication with Debra leading up to our stay, and during our stay, was outstanding.  Therefore check-in was a breeze.  The beds were comfortable, and the patio at "The Patio Pad" was another living space that we readily used (and came with it's own bathroom too!).  But what really made this property stand out was the amenities that made our stay easy.  As one example, the house had both a drip coffee maker as well as a Keurig, and had ample supplies for both (to include artesian coffee pods!), as well as creamer, sugar, and stirrers.  Additionally, the property include ample laundry supplies for those needing to do laundry, and ample paper towels and toilet paper to support the entire stay.  We've stayed in enough VRBO's to know that this isn't always the case!!Finally, the location to local hiking trails, as well as accessibility to many local restaurants and activities provided us so many options.  A local dining recommendation we will pass along is Carajillo's Mexican Restaurant 2.  Delicious food, and tasty drinks!For those with kids, or those who like to be active, we enjoyed the visit to TreeRunner Raleigh Adventure Park.  Thank you Debra for an outstanding stay!

Perfect property for our visit to Wake Forest to attend a family wedding.  Very clean, bright and sunny! Loved that we could bring our dogs. Our Aussie had plenty of room to zoom around and play in the beautiful backyard. Bedrooms and baths were very nicely appointed as was the kitchen. The living room was a great place to relax  on the comfy couches to chat or read.  Lots of thoughtful touches throughout the home - i.e. a welcome basket for the pups and one for the humans.  Everything needed was provided. We will definitely return to this very lovely property.

This is a very nice home!  Great set up and very comfortable, everything was nicely done and clean.  Seems to be recently refurbished which is nice.  The Infinity game table was a big hit. Fireplace was nice on a cold night.  Room set up was ideal for our needs.  We had to leave the unit early unfortunately due the incoming ice storm which we did not want to be trapped in Wake Forest.  Obviously, this was not the host's fault, but mother nature.  Would highly recommend this unit.

(I FORGOT MINE).  CLOSE TO EVERYTHING!  Joiner Park is almost across the streets, and has amazing walking trails and views.  Harris Teeter close by with a Starbucks! The House had a beautiful back yard that was very private!  The Host is very nice, and easy to work with. I am looking forward to returning in the near future!

This was, without question, the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Debra is an exceptional host: warm, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive. And this home is absolutely stunning; every detail has been carefully considered to make the stay seamless and enjoyable.From the labeled drawers and switches to the coffee bar, snacks, fresh towels, heated toilet seats, and thoughtfully provided toiletries, everything felt intentional and welcoming. The QR codes for local recommendations, sound machines in each bedroom, spotless amenities, and the fun, whimsical decor throughout truly set this place apart.The location is perfect as well! It’s an easy walk to downtown Wake Forest, with charming shops, great restaurants, and even the local Farmer’s Market (which we enjoyed on Saturday morning) just steps away. We also loved visiting the local book store several times. We loved every moment of our stay and will absolutely be returning to this location the next time we’re in NC.  10/10!

Home and hosts were perfect for our family. Three generous-sized bedrooms, good water pressure in showers, beds are nice and comfortable, quiet neighborhood but close to shopping / amenities, hosts responsive quickly to any questions! We’d absolutely come back here again.

We've stayed in a lot of AirBnB's and this is one of the best. Great location in a cute town with lots to do within a walkable distance, and much more to do within a short drive. The home is just so cute, with all the amenities you really need without a lot of clutter. The beds and linens are soft and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed for making meals or just grabbing a quick coffee. Debra is very helpful with pointing out local spots of interest,  and she posted a very helpful quick sheet on the fridge about things like trash/recycling, check out procedures and nearby emergency services. I feel like I'm visiting a friend who cares about my stay. The sweet note thanking us for being repeat clients along with the little basket of snacks was really over the top. Def a gem and we hope to visit again soon.

Debra’s house was great for our needs. Everything was as described. We didn’t spend a lot of time on the patio but really enjoyed the time we were out there (especially the big connect 4). It was very helpful having a pack n play and booster for our toddler (less to have to travel with). While I didn’t have need to reach out to Debra for anything during our stay (everything worked and was findable!), I appreciated that she was always quick to respond when we did communicate.

The Patio Pad was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well- stocked for cooking and there were lots of provisions , I.e, coffee, tea, sugar, etc.  The patio and yard were attractive and great for our fur baby! This is a wonderful little cottage that is great for an extended stay.  Just enough room for us (we were in town to visit family for a week).  Charming neighborhood, convenient to downtown, and easy to get to other parts of town as well.

The patio pad is awesome. On beautiful days you can relax outside. There is even an outdoor bathroom.  The house is very clean and fully supplied. The location is perfectly surrounded by everything you need.

Well equiped and organized home with cozy back yard for our group of 3 adults and 1 mid sized dog. Communication with the owner was excellent, very informative and prompt replies. We also appreciated all the small touches they provided (welcome kit for dog, light switches labeled, etc)

Debra was next level awesome, super polite & friendly, always responded when we reached out, let us know about local activities going on.She is great at and perfect at this job

Debra was a great host as she was super communicative before and during the rental. The Patio Pad was the perfect house for me and my family to enjoy a few days in Raleigh. Good space inside and a perfect backyard to enjoy all day. Will definitely look to rent again when we are back in the area in the future.

We were looking for a space for our family to stay while we were in town for our son’s wedding. This was the perfect place for us to stay together. Home was spacious and clean. Host provided excellent communication and our stay was flawless!

Downtown Digs was everything as advertised and more!! Debra has clearly put so much though into every detail of this fun and fresh space. Every room was just as pictured; and every space was exceptionally clean and ready for guests. Not only that, but the beds and pillows were very comfortable (which is ultimately what can make or break a stay for me).Additionally, Debra thought of little details that I've not seen at any other rentals I've stayed at in the past. There was detergent and dryer sheets for laundry needs, a "junk drawer" where you can find exactly what you'd expect: pens, scissors, tape, etc., fresh coffee beans for grinding, and a wonderful little basket of items just in case you need them and forgot to bring them.Debra was super easy to communicate with and I would stay here again and again! Highly recommend!!!

We chose this unit for the location. We were in town for a wedding and we wanted to be able to see the local site sites while we were there. The unit pictures did not do it justice. It was even more beautiful in person. It was clean, Very well, appropriated, and welcoming. It has a full-size kitchen, full-size bedrooms, a garage and driveway to park in, some machines in every bedroom. We have already recommended this unit to friends and family in the area. Definitely a five star.

This house had everything we needed and more. It was close to both grocery stores and restaurants. Our stay was very enjoyable.

This home was immaculate with bright colors and lots of space. We were right at home and truly enjoyed our time. It was fun to be able to walk downtown whether for morning coffee or lunch dates. Great location!

Downtown Digs was the best Airbnb choice we’ve made! We stayed for five days and thoroughly enjoyed it!  The neighborhood is great  —  residential streets with sidewalks perfect for dog walking and evening strolls and just a few blocks from downtown shops and restaurants.  The condo was well appointed and spotless. It was exactly as shown and described online. We appreciated the detailed information Debra provided on local establishments. We were quite comfortable during our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

We loved our stay at The Comfy Corner! It was one of the cleanest Airbnb’s we have stayed at! Debra was super responsive and really helpful. Everything in the house was just like the pictures, and she even has everything labeled which is very convenient. We enjoyed the back patio and area around the electric fire pit. This was a perfect spot for our week stay while closing on a new home in the area.  Home is in a great, quiet, safe, neighborhood.  Immaculate inside, and pictures are accurate.  Kitchen is fully supplied for whatever cooking needs may arise.  Owner was wonderful to work with, very responsive.  Keyless entry made check in/check out a breeze.  Would definitely stay here again!

We were in town for a family wedding. This property was perfect for three couples. Very clean and well stocked with coffee and some other basics. Well located near Wake Forest historic district. Would stay here again if we ever return to the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Downtown Digs! The home was spotless, check in/out was a breeze, and Debra was so attentive. We were traveling with a toddler and were so happy that Debra had kids plates and silverware and a pack and play too! The heated toilet seats were a great touch. We'll definitely be staying again next time we're in the area!

The house was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own space when needed and the layout was very convenient. The house was clean and well organized. Our children appreciated the fruit snacks, chips, and water bottles generously provided. We will definitely be returning for another visit!!

As expected from the listing, loved having 4 king beds. Kitchen was fully stocked for our use. Shower pressure was great and heated toilet seats were unique. One bed was harder than the others and one was softer but all were great.

It is really a comfortable home. The backyard being fenced is a big plus. It is so private. Debra put a lot into organizing the interior of the house. If you cannot find anything then the problem is you! EVERYTHING is labeled, so there is no reason to wonder which switch to use. That got numerous chuckles from my well organized husband who loves his labels!  We enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely use her home again,  hopefully for our next family gathering.  She gets a10 stars from me. ?

This small but mighty cottage was perfect for my husband and our pups. We loved the fenced in back yard, with plenty of space for pups to run and fetch. Walkable neighborhood/area. Close drive for food and groceries. We had everything we needed and Debra was quick to respond through out the reservation process and our stay, like mins not hours.  Our cottage was super comfortable, the beds were so plush and relaxing. Plenty of towels and washcloths as to 1 per person, per stay as many others we have visited. Didn’t  really cook during visit But kitchen seemed well appointed. Guidebook had great suggestions for food, shopping and some activities.  We had a wonderful stay and will look to stay as our travels bring us back to the area. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Raleigh. The neighborhood was peaceful, providing a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The property featured a lovely patio area, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the outdoors. My kids  especially appreciated the spacious backyard and patio, where they had ample room to play and explore safely. Additionally, the convenient location offered easy access (~15-20 mins) to local attractions, restaurants and parks making our visit both comfortable and enjoyable.

Great facility well-maintained.  Debra was very responsive.  Only problem is that front steps and small bathroom are a problem for someone with limited mobility but we managed that issue.

Just pack your clothes, because the rest is taken care of! From kitchen essentials and various chargers to plenty of linens and even extra batteries, nothing was overlooked.Check-in was seamless, and the check-out process was clearly explained ahead of time and also posted in the kitchen for easy reference. We even had instructions on what to do in case of a power outage, which came in handy during a brief 3-hour outage—very thoughtful and proactive!We were especially impressed with the small touches, like labeled light switches those little details make a big difference. The Patio Pad was a peaceful spot to enjoy morning coffee.

We absolutely loved the distance to downtown, the cleanliness, labeling, and accessibility of everything in the condo, and the wall of restaurants. This place was super kid and dog friendly, making our vacation so much easier and smoother! We did not struggle to access the condo, and overall we had a great time; 0 complaints.

I truly enjoyed the week stay.. We moved the daughter into her prospective apartment and I hated to depart. I would love to have the same place again minus the pets in tow....

This was an excellent stay. My parents and I came to Wake Forest to visit my sister and we had an amazing experience staying at Debra’s Whispering Woods. The location is perfect, close to everything (stores, restaurants, Raleigh. Etc.)  the place is on a quiet neighborhood and safe. The accommodation was exactly as described, clean comfortable and well equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Debra was incredibly hospitable and responsive, providing helpful tips about the area and ensuring my family and I had everything we needed. The check in /check out process was seamless and straightforward. I highly recommended this place to anyone visiting Wake Forest NC or even Raleigh which is about 15 min away. Beautiful, clean home! Large fenced backyard was perfect for our pup. Close to restaurants and shopping. Would most definitely return if we’re in the area again!

Debra was very communicative and always responded within minutes. We had no issues while staying, and the house was just as described and pictured. Everything listed was provided, we only bought food. Check in was easy (Debra messaged us to say it was ready early and let us check in early which was very nice) and check out was a breeze. The house was sparkling clean. The patio space was great, and because of the nearby bird feeders there were all sorts of songbirds around to enjoy. And there were little bunnies too! We haven't stayed at a bunch of AirBNBs but this is the best we have stayed at and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed this modern and comfortable house in Wake Forest. Modern appliances, comfortable bedrooms and all the little things one could need were provided. We especially enjoyed the deck and fenced in back yard where we listened to the birds singing while enjoying our breakfast. Off the beaten path, but not too far from restaurants and shopping. Check in was a breeze and we enjoyed great communications from Debra both before and during out stay. Thank you.

Quaint, clean, character bungalow.  Excellent location.  Handled five adults especially with the inviting patio. The exterior washroom was a great bonus.

My husband and I loved staying here! The neighborhood was quiet and the home was lovely - sparkling clean, beautifully decorated and well-appointed. There were even heated toilet seats! The beds were very comfy and the hanging basket chairs under the deck were heavenly. Debra was very responsive and we would definitely stay again.
